Mitchell Cox joined Turnbridge in 2010 and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. In his current role, he is a resource for advice and counsel to the management teams of our portfolio companies, and he also supports the firm’s ongoing investor communications and interaction.
Prior to joining Turnbridge, Mr. Cox was an investment banker, initially at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and subsequently at Deutsche Bank, where he served as Co-Head of North American Energy Investment Banking and Global Head of Oilfield Service Investment Banking. Prior to becoming an investment banker, Mr. Cox worked for ARCO International Oil & Gas Company in a variety of domestic and international roles that included engineering, operational, and commercial responsibility.
Mr. Cox currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Cimarron, Brigade Energy Services, and Loci Controls. Previously, Mr. Cox served as Chairman of the Board of USA DeBusk and as a Director on the Boards of Fiberspar (where he Chaired the Audit Committee), Gradiant Energy Services, Aereon, Pipe Pros, Pro-Stim, Allied-Horizontal Wireline, Impact Selector, Probe Technologies and as Founder and Director of Abrado (subsequently Romar-Abrado).
Mr. Cox has also served on the Vestry and Endowment Board of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, the Board of Post Oak Little League, the Board of Positive Coaching Alliance and as a Trustee of St. Francis Episcopal School.
Mr. Cox holds a B.S in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
