J. Kent Sweezey focuses on the firm's strategic and capital raising activities; serves on the Firm's Investment Committee; and oversees administration of certain of the Firm's regulatory and reporting activities. Prior to founding Turnbridge, Mr. Sweezey was a founding Partner of CSW (Turnbridge's predecessor firm). From 1983 to 2002, Mr. Sweezey worked at DLJ and its successor firm Credit Suisse, where he served as Co-Head of the Energy and Power Group and, in different periods, managed both the Houston and Dallas offices. During that time he built successful teams in both locations, notably founding the Houston office in 1994 and building it to 35 professionals and a position of leadership in its focus areas at the time of DLJ's sale in 2000. During that time he focused particularly on the services and equipment sector, while also originating investment opportunities for DLJ Merchant Banking Partners.

Currently, Mr. Sweezey serves on the Board of ROC Service Company and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the St. Andrews School of Middletown, Delaware. Previously, Mr. Sweezey served as Chairman of Allied Wireline Services, and as a Director of Gray Energy Services and Nexus Gas Partners. Earlier, Mr. Sweezey also served on the boards of W-H Energy Services, Dr Pepper Bottling Company of Texas, and Growth Capital Partners, and as Head of the Finance Committee for the St. Andrews School of Middletown, Delaware.

Mr. Sweezey obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
